My highway pegs are kuyakin. The accessories lights are something cheap I got off Amazon. The lights and the toggle switch to use for them were a total of approx $20.
Yep, I use this thump as a sign to buy a new chain. Simon, check your chain for kinks. More than a couple, buy a new chain. If the engine starts and you can ride it, doubt it is the engine or tranny.
Was looking thru my records for the NC and realized after 3 years with the current chain, I had never cleaned it, only sprayed with a lithium chain lube. Got an old soft toothbrush, some diesel, and cleaned the chain. Used rag to get the diesel off and resprayed with lithium chain lube. Found no...
You sure it is in the transmission and not behind the front sprocket cover? Does your chain have tight or frozen links? The front sprocket cover has a tab on the backside. A stiff/stuck/frozen links will hit this tab and sound like a bad thump from the transmission area. Don't ask me how I know.....
My wife is a truck person. These 3 trucks are hers. The left is a 97 f250 f250 he with 7.3 l power stroke she bought in 97. Her little Maverick which I love to drive. The right one is an 2022 f250 super duty she bought in Kissimmee last Xmas. It was a new 2022 she got for thousands less than...

My car tires can go up to 50 psi per manufacturer. I run 40 because I get better mpg than 32psi and I get 75,000 miles on them at 40....just replaced them. On the bikes, I like the feel of 40 on both.
You are overthinking it. The recommended pressures on the tires and listed on the bikes swingarm are for max pressure carrying max weight. It is even listed as so in one of my manuals (if I can find it after my move). I don't go by that either, I run 40psi in all my tires on my 3 motorcycles and...
Look at Harley Davidson. I want to a local dealer last weekend, they had over 36 low mileage (less than 10,000) on bikes anywhere from 1-8 years old. They had a number of 2022 models with less than 5000 miles.
