Everyone, thanks for the support and device. Sadly my deductible is A LOT...way too much to justify and sort of claim short of totaling it... For now I've obtained and large beefy chain, and a Xena disc alarm. This didn't actually happen at my place which is actually much safer than in the city...

I feel like those who don't think their aftermarket exhausts aren't a menace must have lost their hearing. To the rest of us who haven't, it's unbelievably loud and annoying......

I came out to find this disaster this morning...... Lock still works, but the top part that's mangled can move without the key... suggestions on what to do?

To be honest I've never heard of this before! Interesting to see the differing opinions. Personally, I've been riding small displacement bikes my entire life 100-250cc. The nc is the first middleweight I've owned. I like the stock tires, but it sounds like they don't last all that long. I guess...

Thanks! What kind of drill bit/size did you use? I can't see in the rain and I need to fix this soon. It's really getting on my nerves!

How much higher did you drill the holes? I'm thinking three inches?

So I got my madstad and I like it. Though reading the past few pages worries me a bit. I used the stock mounting s and it seems ok for now. However, the screen is too tall in the lowest setting. Any suggestions to drill it in order to lower it?

So my madstad arrived today, just wondering if anyone knows how long this will take and what tools are required. I'm taking a ride down to Delaware to visit friends after work and I'm wondering whether it's worth attempting to put this on first.

Getting my Madstad soon! Thanks for the input and I'm excited to do a longer highway ride with the new windshield! The stock one is really getting on my nerves on windy days.
