I put PR4's on my NC back in December after I lowsided the bike on a wet road going a mere 5 MPH on the stock Dunlops. I haven't looked back, they have been excellent tires that provide great handling and grip. I can't see myself ever buying anything else. It kills me how people are willing to...
I agree with this, they aren't the made of the toughest material but they are extremely lightweight, and are able to be folded up really tight as to not take a lot of room in the frunk. Of course I live in a climate that doesn't see a lot of rain and if rain is in the forecast I don't usually...
I don't think they make a mesh pant that is waterproof without a liner, not sure how that would work since mesh would just allow water through. I use a pair of Joe Rocket Phoenix Ion pants that I love. They zip all the way up so you can put them on over jeans while wearing boots. They come with...
I use a Bell Qualifier DLX, light, comfortable, built in cutout for a Sena communicator, pretty quiet, and comes with a photo-chromatic face shield! Absolutely love it. I've used Scorpion and HJC in the past and the Bell is better in almost every aspect.
So the boots came in on Wednesday and I have been wearing them every day on and off the bike since I got them. They arrived from Revzilla in a nice box that was well packaged. The boots were in perfect shape upon arrival and the laces were already on the boots although they were completely...
Yeah I looked at the TCX and Revit ones as well but they also seemed to have the shifter pad which just screams motorcycle boot to me. Also is the shift pad really necessary? The shifter has rubber over it that never seems to eat up my shoes.
So I've been on the lookout for a while for a pair of good looking motorcycle boots that I can wear to the office every day in business casual attire. Most of them that claim to be styled for on and off the bike still look like motorcycle boots to me and most all of them have the sewn on pad on...
Huge fan of the Pilot Road 4's. I live near Austin TX and we have been getting a lot of rain lately and they are very sticky on wet roads (unlike the garbage Dunlops that came on my 2015 700X).
I have a Leatherman wave that is in good condition with minimal signs of use with the original nylon sheath. Asking $40 shipped CONUS

I agree with this. I'm not "concerned" about how i would look. It was simply a statement that I don't normally see them on anything but classic/retro bikes and I was wondering if anyone here wears one. I also agree that 3/4 helmets are not as safe as a full face and I will continue to wear my...
Having a discussion with a friend the other day on when 3/4 helmets are appropriate and thought I would bring the discussion here to see what you all think. I normally see them on classic/retro bikes but rarely ever see them on anything else. Do any of you wear a 3/4 helmet? Would you think it...
Finally broke down and ordered the Madstad. When I first got the bike I thought the Madstad was too ugly but after trying a couple other shields and realizing how much I desperately need decent wind protection I ordered the 22" clear. Now I have to wait for it to arrive...
Do you find the medium tint to be sufficient for the occasional night ride? This is the one I'm thinking of buying as well and though I ride primarily in the day I do have the occasional dark ride into work in the early mornings. I'm 5'10 so I was thinking of getting the 20' as well.
I keep seeing a "Kawasaki green" NC in the North Austin area. It has to be a custom paint job but he is always going in a different direction than I am.
I have a zero gravity tall windscreen and really like the looks and function of it. The wind does hit me about eye level and it's a little louder but I too care about the looks too much to go with a madstad even though I'm sure they are awesome windshields.
