Thank you everyone for your quick replies it was very helpful. On the 2016 model there is one screw in the back and then you gently pull outward and the first panel pops off. The rest look like a lot more work so I left them. But this was enough to feed the wires through and get it done...
I need to run a wire to the battery on a 2016 nc750x. Does anyone know how to remove the left side topmost panel? It has a single screw near the frunk. Then I am not sure if you just pull on it or what. Dont want to damage the plastic. Did some googling but didnt find much. Thanks for any...
Sorry for the late reply. I am not on here that often. I have not taken it to the rev limiter but I assume it would. On the upshift it does let you rev it out pretty good. On the downshift though the software gets nervous and downshifts pretty soon if you don't. So the auto downshift happens...
I have had a 2016 nc750x with DCT for a year now. At first I had no intentions of buying a DCT. I like doing my own shifting. However I liked the bike and my dealer only had a DCT so I test drove it. I immediatly fell in love with it. For commuting to and from work in a large city it makes...
I believe the 2017 nc750x Canadian version does have the LED headlight. I see what they are doing. Any left over stock in Europe from 2016 they ship to Canada as a "2017" model. The colour in Europe last year was candy red and that's what Canada gets this year....
And....I just realized...
I finally got my Parabellum shield and it did not fit. Not even close. Be aware that nc700 windshields do not fit the 2016 and later nc750x. The bolt pattern and position is completely different. Parabellum was great to work with. They refunded all money including shipping and let me keep...
I just bought an nc700 windshield from Parabellum. It is not even close to fitting on an nc750x. Different bolt hole configuration and handlebar would have impacted the sides of the shield if installed. So just be aware that nc700 windshields likely won't fit the nc750x.
I find the Spyder's interesting. I need to get through my 3 year learners/novice program here in Saskatchewan Canada but after that my wife can ride with me. We have pondered the Spyder or a Goldwing for the future. The reason I am curious about the Spyder is that I will be 3 years older by...
Here's how it all turned out. I replaced the front seat and re-upholstered the rear seat to match. With the Seat Concepts seats, you don't get a pan so you have to tear down your old factory seat and rebuild it. It's easier than it sounds. Once I purchased a T50 pneumatic stapler, everything...
I am 6' 3" and tall in the body. I find the stock windshield on the nc750x pretty much useless. Wind noise is deafening and a lot of buffeting at high speed. I ordered a 24 inch from Parabellum. It's for an nc700 but I am hoping it will fit the nc750x. If not, it's going back.
PARABELLUM...
Thanks everyone for the replies. I decided on a seat from seatconcepts.com after a lot of research. Prices are reasonable and I like the look of it and the gripper material they have. I have one on order with carbon fiber sides and gripper top for both the front and rear seats. Small...
