Rossi is switching to honda nc750x for next race

[it'd be worth a wager that the DCT can change gears quicker than Rossi?]

Most of the front rank motoGP bikes have some form of automatic shifting. And Rossi rides for Yamaha so he'd have to buy a NC700X with his own money!

I was watching a movie about moto gp racers.a lot of them said they don't and wouldn't ride a bike outside of racing, they said its to dangerous lol.they don't have to worry about cars, people, things running in front of them and they all go the same direction,so in a since they have a point.just thought it was funny coming from guys that go 200 mph +

that's why Rossi has switched to nc750x which is slightly slower bike...

Rossi has actually gotten in trouble with his team (and his father) for racing moto-x in the off season and injuring himself. (Wasn't on an NC750X though. :p) What I find interesting is that many moto-x riders here are specifically prohibited by their contract from riding any form of motorcycle outside of competing and practice. Funny to think US moto-x has stricter rules than Moto GP. That or Rossi is all like "Screw my contract" (in an Italian accent) which is also very plausible.
