Here we go with another storm, set a record for the day and the second snowiest on record at 73 inches. I'm having such withdrawal from riding I rode the bike out of the garage then back in, a long 100 ft trek. I think I need to move down by OCR! At this rate we'll be lucky to ride by July, and the pot holes can now swallow a truck! I'm very jealous of all you southern riders. Ride safe!

Don't feel bad, QuinnSea. The Texans might want to be where you are come mid summer!

We are getting very nice weather, warmer then normal. So nice that both my dealer ships have taken of in late january, normally the season takes off in late march. So much work coming in i may not be making very many parts for nc700 this year. Hopefully your weather gets better, maybe you will have a really nice summer? Dale

That is great the weather is good out West and your customers are swarming into the store. Although I'll be in the garage for a bit longer, I like reading all the adventures of the other posters (Old Can Ride Mexico trip), and the tech postings as a great way to learn (thanks Dale for your posts)! So, for now please keep on posting those adventures and idea's, that has been the only thing getting me through the past three months in the snowy Northeast. - Mike

Ice, snow and sand over all of Arkansas right now, so much for being a southern state..... :D

The good thing about Arkansas is it will be 50 the next day and melt everything. Saturday will be good to go. Feel bad for folks up North and East. I can't complain because today is only my 7th day to not ride this year.

Hope the weather changes for you soon. I have a couple friends that live in Rhode Island and they have been complaining about the snow for a couple months.

It's getting to 40 today here and 60's by next week! I'll be picking up my NC700x next Tuesday and busting out my Blast to polish up for selling. Tuesday can't get here fast enough!

I live on the MD/PA border. it's been a truly lousy winter. I've only managed 4 rides since January and will be spending most of the day digging out of another 10" of snow.

But it's nothing compared to the record setting winter New England has had.

Folks on the East Coast will definitely be testing the bike's suspension after the snow melts.

For now, the weather forecast for my section of western OH shows 4 of the 5 weekdays with temps in the low to mid-50s and very little rain. I'm sure I can get in a few days of riding! :D

And its about time.if snow is melted enough to get to mine I will be out for sure.

Hey, I guess things worked out with the bike. Congrats! Did you find out if it had some warranty left? Did you get it for less than asking price? -Jim

The weather patterns are crazy this year. Here on the Oregon coast I've been able to ride nearly every day for the last 3 weeks. Unusual for this time of year in these parts. I imagine something will change by summer and we will have a very wet one.

Don't jinks it danrev! I think we'll have great weather all thru October. The jet stream has been pretty weak and going north.

In our part of PA they are calling for temps all next week above 35 degrees and even close to 50 with some rain mixed in. I'm hoping it thaws out the snow and washes away all the salt and sand from the roads. It's supposed to be 40 today with sunshine which at this point will feel like a balmy summer day.

Holy moly! I ain't seen snow that deep here since I was kid!

snap.
we did have a couple of odd days where it snowed but to warm to lay so it melted!
but still cold though.
today I washed the bike down (3rd time since laid up!)again.it get covered in dust even with a bike cover over it.
been doing some woodwork to so that didn't help.
filled her up with petrol and I though yeah I'll go for a spin up to the next village and back 9.5 miles there and back.
cold at 1st but soon settled in.it was to late to go for proper ride but at least I ejoyed my little spin.
