Last year was the first time I paid attention.
What an exciting sport!
I don't really have a rider to root for, I guess I would like to see Malcolm Stewart do well as a rookie moving up from 250.

I guess I could root for Honda riders.
I like the way Musquin rides.

I usually tape it on Saturday night and watch during the week.

Pretty sure that there's no tape involved, or at least I hope not! ;)

You got me all worked up, spent my entire evening watching races from 2016.

I wish I had been following this earlier. I would have tried to go to the one in Atlanta.

Motocross looks like it'd be fun to go see too. I'd like to go watch the Muddy Creek race, but it's way too hot in late June for an outdoor race for me.

Fox sports 1, usually starts about 7 to 9 central, depending on the time zone of the event.
Saturday.

Yup, "tape" went the way of the wooden wagon wheel, 6-volt batteries, etc.! ;)

I still talk about dialing a phone or playing a record.
For that matter it is hard for me to say "Czech Republic"

I do have a vcr in a closet somewhere because I have so much money invested in tapes.

However, you are correct that I recorded on my DVR.

Exciting race last week.
Dungey got boxed at the start but came back.
He and Tomac are now tied.
Cooper Webb is getting his confidence.
Tomac is absolutely riding crazy.

I've been watching it this year and I'm loving it. Some race get dull pretty quickly, but some have been outstanding. I like to cheer for Chad Reed, and since my son's nickname is Tickles, I find myself taking an interest in Tickle as well.

Really, I'm just enjoying watching people do what I would never dream of doing.

I started watching this year and had no favorite. I looked to see who was riding for Honda, figuring I'd just root for them. That hasn't happened thanks to Eli Tomac. He's just too fun to watch that I can't help it. This last race was really exciting.

Big finale coming up. Tomac seemed to lose confidence last week, but has won more races than almost anyone ever
Dungey just never misses a podium. Tortoise and hare!

You could tell Tomac was off his game in his semi. I think you got it right, Hank. Dungey is so consistent that he'll probably finish at least high enough to keep the points lead. Still exciting...thanks for the thread, I'd never have gotten into this without it.

I had to record it due to other obligations, but I did check the results. I see Dungey did his typically consistent ride and got just enough points to win overall. Tomac has to be looking at that Salt Lake recording and kicking himself over the fall and the run off the course.

Well, my recording ended with two laps to go.
I managed to see most of the rest on the internet.
It was indeed exciting.
I think the double level of everything - race v. season, made it especially exciting.
It looked like Tomac was seriously thinking of just crashing into Dungey to see what would happen.
When Tomac is on he is so fast. He reminds me of the moto gp rookie Zarco, who rides right at the edge of disaster all the time.

It will be repeated tonight, so I may record it again, or at least the last ten minutes.
