Hi all

I have not planned any long trips (say more than 500km per day kinda thing) for 2013.

I am sure some of you have, and perhaps you will be kind enough to "torture" us to jealousy with a map route and a short writeup?
This can give us ideas and share the routes planned. Preparations, etc.
:D

Joe.
PS: Strictly using only NC700X/S/D only.
Don't tell us your Wing tours, etc.
:p

I'm thinking to plan a trip to Italian/Austrian Alps this summer, i just need to find someone to come with me. :)

If I can get the funds together I plan to ride to the Alsace region of France in July, staying around the Colmar area. I just love riding those mountain roads :)

Video from when I was last there. Thats me in the blue/ black jacket on the blue SV. Filmed by a friend who had a crappy can on his R6 hence the crap sound

If you do that, contact me via the forum, I am located 40 km shouth of Colmar, if I am here we can meet, have a ride and and a restaurant.

For my personal projects, I want to go to the north part of Croatia next may, maybe go down south. I have two weeks free, but decisions should be taken depending on funds, weather, etc. I don't know if the weather in may allowed to camp.

I didn't decided wich way yet, passing throught Swizzerland or Austria.

Cheers if I can get the trip together will definitely look you up. Am sure you know the best riding roads :)

Riding to Texas in April for the first Motogp race at the Circuit of the America's in Austin. 1100 miles to get there.

At the present, plans are for the week after Easter. We will leave Fayetteville, NC. We will travel Naples, FL, stay the night and travel to Marathon, FL for two nights. Then, off to Tampa for a night before headed back to Fayetteville, NC. Our 7yr old will be on the back of the BMW K1200LT with my husband while I will be sporting the "X". Should be a great week of sightseeing.

In April I plan a 7 day ride to Arkansas. We'll be staying at a different location each night. Total mileage of around 2k...hope I get the dang seat more comfortable by then!!!

got in 300 miles last Sunday, about two hundred off road, 3000 since first of January, only 32000 more for my normal 35000 yearly goal . dale

I'm also planning to ride to Austin for the MotoGP races, leaving Virginia on April 15. Probably over 3,400 miles round trip, avoiding the Interstate Highway system as much as possible. Weather permitting, I'll take the Blue Ridge Parkway from end to end on this trip. When I rode to Barber for AMA racing in April of '07, parts of the parkway were closed due to snow.

I have a week in july,,that is ear marked for a trip,I do,nt know where to go possibly spain,,,,I have an inclining to visit some of the Napoleon wars battle sites...

I plan on leaving Tulsa on July 3rd with a couple of friends and heading up to Yellowstone in Wyoming. It will be me on my NSX and I will be riding with a 750 BMW and a 250 Suzuki Motard (I forget the model). Due to the 250, we will drive up to Denver with the bikes in tow then ride up to Yellowstone. I am hoping to be able to include a run up Pikes Peek and over Independence Pass. We are loking at about 3,000 miles round trip. 1600 miles riding and 1400 driven.

Actually I forgot to mention this,,,,on saturday I,m going to China for 3 weeks.... I intend to get a cheap Honda 125 clone and tour around abit...

Thats allot of off-roading for a day. You go with others right? I don't think I would want to go that far off the beaten path alone...

I have 3 planned this year. The SGT in the Smokies mentioned on a few threads here, Gonna take the NC to the MotoGP race at Indianapolis on 8-18 (already bought my ticket), and a big ride out to Northern California & the Pacific Northwest (to see The Cascades mostly).

I wish I could make the 1st (hopefully annual) SGT, but I'm leaving April 29 with my dad for a 5600 mile ride to Southern California
