Put this on last night and rode in to work so not much of a review other than pix so far. Only issue so far is concern over getting to the gas tank. Its a tight fit and since there aren't any springs on it like the stock one, it doesn't want to release with the key. I have to lift it while turning the key so it opens just doesn't pop open and it doesn't easily latch shut. Hopefully as the seat breaks in, that will become easier to open and close.

NICE seat. I ride a Corbin front seat but I don't have the back seat since I replaced the rear with a Dale's Rack for cargo. I like the red stitching.

I found the seat a bit firm initially (but still far more comfortable than stock) but after nearly 6000 miles on the seat its broken in and I really like it.

Are you planning on 2up riding, or just wanted the matching pair?
I realize it isn't a Goldwing -no money, space or enough reason to get one -but my wife and I take small jaunts on the NC and I wonder about the aftermarket pillions and whether or not they help the passenger comfort at all.
Looks great though.

Well, at least that pillion seat unlike many out there has a concave instead of a convex cross-section. Human anatomy 101 ; }

Yes plan on 2 up once in a while. My wife couldn't stand riding on back of the CBR and the CBF250L a bit underpowered for one person. The back seat is almost 3 times as thick as stock so shouldn't be any complaints....she's never sat on a Gold Wing so as long as that never happens I should be good.

There is a bit of a lean to the tank but there's some extra padding there. I'm trying to sit a little farther back so the seat breaks in with less of a lean.

Thanks for the pics. I am having a real problem with the lean. I have bought a Shad seat and installed it on top of the seat bracket instead of inside it. It is still not that great...

Hey speed, do you ride with a passenger and if so do they like the Shad pillion better than the stock pass seat and what do they notice about it that's different? Thanks, i'm now looking for a new pass seat. Whether it matches my RDL or not is irrelevant to me.... :{P

Can't comment on Shad seat but the Corbin is about 3 times thicker and my wife says its more comfortable than the stock one
