New NC750X, exhaust fitment questions

Received the 2017 exhaust this morning and quickly fitted it to my 2015 bike
It looks a lot better on the bike than the old exhaust
It has a nice growl to it without being too much louder than the stock exhaust but I like the sound it makes
The bike also looks narrower from the rear now
Very happy with my purchase

Much better looking! That old oem big silver bullet can is hideous to me. Good looking bike man!

Also, good looking garage too! I love those garage doors!

Thank you TacomaJD
Yes, I have always been a sucker for nice wooden garage doors.

I could also not get used to the huge "chrome barrel" on the side of the bike
I started looking for another exhaust the day after I bought my bike as I knew some owners of newer models would remove their OEM cans to fit aftermarket cans.
Now my OCD can relax again LOL

I know the feeling! It made me cringe when I bought my 2013 NC last year. First thing I done to it was replace with a carbon fiber Yoshi exhaust. I bought a 2016 model (new body style) 4 or 5 months ago, with the stock exhaust like the new one you just put on. I initially planned to swap it out for something, but I've gotten used to it now and I actually kinda like it. It looks really good for a stocker, and is just loud enough to where I can hear it while riding, so I will probably just leave it.

Yes, I have ridden about 300km with the new-to-me exhaust and I really like the exhaust note
It is not loud, but like you say....one can hear it whilst riding
