Brand new to the bike (2014). I have the accessory sub harness and want to install 2 USB ports. Before I cut two of the two pin plugs off is there a source for bare leads to this plug?

What do you mean by bare leads? Do you want a source for corresponding connectors? If you truly want bare leads, yes, just cut the connectors off and strip the insulation off the wires.

Yes, looking for the corresponding connectors.

"There are 3 connectors to play with once the subharness is installed – 2 of them have 2 wires (brown and green) and one of them has 3 wires (brown, green, and blue). In all cases the green wires are ground and the brown wires are switched 12V+ from the relay and fuse. The blue wire is the 5V+ Lo Beam signal (for 2016-2020, 12V+ on Hi Beam for 2015 and earlier). Matching companion connectors are readily available at cycleterminal.com (an SC110-3 connector will plug into a 2-wire connector and an SC110-4 mates with the 3 wire connector). I'm gonna use the 3-wire connector for the aux lighting; the two 2-wire connectors could be used to supply power for any other purpose, like running a GPS or charging a phone or whatever as long as the total load (including OEM heated grips, if installed) thru the fuse is around 7 amps or less."

Thanks a bunch for the reply. These are the plugs for the two wire, correct?

That is cycleterminal.com, right? Great site - I have bought a bunch of stuff from them. The owner, Joe, is very helpful and quick to reply to e-mail, so if you ever have any questions I highly suggest shooting him a message before ordering: [email protected]

Hello, I'm planning to install the sub harness as well.
Do we need to install the relay and fuse in order for this sub harness to work? If yes, what is the part number for the relay and where exactly does it go in the fuse box?

Thank you!
