Also a ‘12. Strange to have two spots for bolts but provide just one. Go figure. Thanks for info…I won’t worry that I somehow lost a bolt. Now, the many fastener types, that’s a different story.
On one side, the bracket has a hollow pin that goes into a mount. The other side has a bolt. There is no need for two bolts, since with the one bolt in place, neither side can go anywhere and the radiator is secure. The R&G brand radiator guard adds a bolt to the blank side for securing their guard.

I roa up to Memorial Lake & then up through Ft. Indiantown Gap & stumbled upon a little live fire practice in a “village” on the base.

Went for a 340Km round trip to see a good friend who is currently unwell. During the course of the trip on the outward leg my X-Adv achieved one of its highest fuel consumption figures @ 63 miles per imperial gallon. Contributing factors were a very strong headwind while cruising at 125kph for a large part of the journey. That figure is still ok under the circumstances.

Yeah not bad considering those factors. I hope your friend gets better….:(:(

Getting ready for my retirement to Florida...Loaded up my NC700x, C50 Boulevard, and cubcadet x2 lawn tractor into a covered trailor Friday evening...Left the house at 0235am Saturday morning, arrived outside of Williston Florida at 335pm on Saturday....Unloaded the items (not 1 but 2 rachets had malfunctioned and fell over into the Boulevard-breaking turn signal stalk on C50 and gouging about a half dollar size paint chip from the Honda)...nothing I cant fix-more projects to do....Left the Williston home at 235am on Sunday morning and arriving back in Scottsburg at 235pm....now waiting for shipping containers for the household items to be delivered.....I should be back in Florida this coming Saturday or Sunday...

Enjoy Florida & Retirement!:D
Wife has so many honey-doos on the list,,,going to be months before 'retirement' kicks-in....LOL....all of us 'Floridians' will have to have some lunch meetups in the state....there are a few of us on here....including myself because I have been a 'legal' Floridian for a couple of years now....

Drained and refilled the radiator with new coolant and flushed the brake lines with some new fluid as well. Took the time to clean about a month or so worth of bugs off the windshield while I was at it :) . Shouldn’t need much aside from chain maintenance for a while. Eagerly awaiting august for a laam seat now

Went for a 2 hour ride with a buddy.
First time driving my bike with the stock muffler.
I had an aftermarket can on it since my first ride last year.
I am very happy with the stock muffler.
It certainly wasn’t whisper quiet, but a little growl on acceleration was welcomed.
The driving experience on the highway was much quieter than before.
I’m getting old.
No, make that I AM old.

The newer models definitely have a nicer OEM sound than the '12. I think they learned from the '12-14(?) model which was too quiet. I know I really love the LeoVince and it actually sounds, to me, a lot like the new models. It's not too loud...just loud enough. And now I have to go for a ride.

I was looking at those.
I have only heard them on YouTube videos.
I had one on my Honda Silverwing 600.
I tried running it without the dB Killer, but it was way too loud and barky.
Is yours model # 14189E by any chance?
Running it with or without dB Killer?
