Hey Girls,

I just got an NC yesterday. It's my first street bike in a few years. I learned to ride in 2008 out of necessity (60mi/day commute 5 days/week) but then gave up street riding in favor of track riding then racing. I race with the Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association. I am an expert there, but I place middle pack... I bumped up early because the org was small, but now it's grown and I am not placing as well as I did as an amateur :'(

I got the NC because of my commute again... New job as of January and its 50mi a day this time... I am excited about this bike though because of it's ground clearance. I kinda want to do some trail riding and set it up for some apocalypse rides... I read an article in Sport Rider about some trails around SoCal that sound like a lot of fun for weekend camping and I want to do it with my Boyfriend. He created an account on here too because he'll be playing with my bike as much as me. He's a tinkerer and wants to try some things with my suspension... I am sure we will start some threads on that for sure.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to all the girls on here... look forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome from one of the ladies. I am also hoping to do some off road work with my bike, want to take a course this fall and get some experience whilst dropping someone else's bike. And have to wait to buy guards, etc. But if you find some good roads, do let me know.

You are not only not very observant but I would add that you don't get out much either ;)

Welcome, and a hello to the ladies of the forum.

Welcome from SW Missouri. I save a lot of money commuting 26 miles one way.

Hi Welcome from the UK. As to guys or gals it doesn't really matter as we are all riders. My wife has ridden all her adult life and her attitude is rather than look on herself as a female biker she is a biker who just happens to be female
