    Bolt ons and gained HP.

Well I'm 6'6 and 260 pounds and riding a 255 kg bike and then making it 215kg, the amazing difference makes it all worth while!!! :)

Yep, lighter rear sprocket, lighter wheels and brake rotors, remove passenger footpegs (if you can), fender eliminator. It all adds up but can get expensive really fast

    Sprocket change?

Basically Jay i wanted a bit more oomph coming out of corners (2nd gear was a bit lazy at my weight) and make better use of 6th gear (6th was no good from 110kph and under). Now the bike is a little more happier pulling my weight without labouring the engine. This gearing change will increase...

    Sprocket change?

Ok now bear in mind that the speedo reads a little higher now, so this is what i just did: 100kph = 3000rpm, 110 kph = 3250 to 3300rpm, 120kph = 3500 to 3600rpm. Those rpms are not exact since my dash does not display exact rpms. According to my estimates, the speedo will read 7% higher than...

    Bolt ons and gained HP.

Last year i sold my hayabusa to buy the nc700s and 1 thing that was the biggest improvement on that bike (the hayabusa) was reducing weight rather than increasing horsepower. I ended up with the bike weighing 40kg (nearly 80 pounds) less than stock, had better brakes, better economy and handled...

    Sprocket change?

    Sprocket change?

Just changed my rear sprocket to a 45 from a 43 stock on my 700s. A little more get-up-and-go is just what the doctor ordered lol :)

Changing the counter shaft sprocket or rear wheel sprocket

Just changed mine from a 43 rear to a 45 to give a little more oomph out of corners. I'm a big guy so this helps to ease the strain on the engine. No real notice in rpm increase. Maybe 100 rpm more than stock at the same speed and reads a little higher on the speedo than I'm actually travelling...

    Airhawk2

Yes mate i have one. Best money i ever spent. Went from 1 hour with the stock seat to 4 hours at a time with the airhawk. I'm 6"6 and 250 pounds too so I'm no lightweight.......

Changing the counter shaft sprocket or rear wheel sprocket

I will be going 2 up in the rear when i can get one. A little more ooomph off the line and outta corners wont hurt. Fuel economy for this bike will always be good unless you take it to a track day and flog it to death

Damn my temper got me again!!!!

Yes to a certain degree. There are 3 or 4 great motorcycle-populated roads near sydney that if you go there on a weekend with an illegal bike, chances are you'll get busted. Police have had enough of morons treating these roads like their own race track.

Damn my temper got me again!!!!

My main reason for removing baffle is sound only. Looks don't interest me with this bike. So many retards in cars over here that cut me off and nearly run me over because they are too lazy to look in their mirror. If they hear me coming, that can only be a good thing for me. The police are...

Damn my temper got me again!!!!

Yes i was all over your thread yesterday running back and forth to see if i missed anything. I could move it side to side and push it back in quite easily but it wouldn't come out any further than it started. The pipe is quite a mess i must admit. I flogged it pretty good. :( I figured after 3...
