    NC at the Track

Thanks ;) me too. The people I spend most of my time with now like family... we are all a little crazy, but we look out for and keep each other in check. It's actually quite beautiful. We tried to bring our street friends into the track family, but they resisted; the prefer to ride like that on...

    NC at the Track

I wish I could say that it was always the case. I am happy to have survived the 'adolescence' of motorcycling... I had a couple close calls, but nothing that put me down too long. It's all about the crowd you fall in with, I think. Fortunately I was picked up by the track crowd, to whom I defer...

    NC at the Track

I left the feelers on the pegs and leaned as far as she would let me  I wanted to keep it sane since I have my crazy bike for doing crazy things. LOL

    NC at the Track

No worries! Before I went to the track, the chicken strips I had would have fed a family of 4. How I ride on the street is now how I ride on the track. I am managing to keep the two worlds apart (now).

    NC at the Track

I wanted to include this in the original post, but I forgot... Sowwy! The OEM rubber worked like a champ!

    NC at the Track

Yeah it was the S46DR1 that I have... Bummer!! I will check it out to confirm, but that will be sad if you are correct. It's definitely not my race bike, but I kinda like that. I wouldn't mind something a little stiffer, because I do plan to eventually put bags on it and make it more of a...

    NC at the Track

Hey everyone, I decided to take my NC to Chuckwalla Valley Raceway for the Femmewalla and SoCalTrackday weekend... because I binned my racebike two weeks ago. I wanted to share some pictures and my no BS Assessment of the NC at pace. First let me say that the bike handles as well on the track...

    Which camera do you use?

HAHA Me either! Oh, so regarding Software... I am lazy and cheap. I just use Microsoft Live Movie Maker. It's free and very easy to use... not very powerful, but I sit in front of a computer all day day so I don't have much patients for these sorts of things.

    Which camera do you use?

Ram Mount makes awesome mounts for them (and pretty much everything else) too... and if you have an engine guard on your NC, like I do... it's a perfect place to mount them so they are out of the way.

    I got a chuckle too ;)

    Which camera do you use?

I use a GoPro Hero3 Silver... it ships with 2 different doors for the case... one is open and not weather proof but is good if you actually want to hear speech. The sealed enclosure is good for high speed but even if the motor is off and you are stopped it's hard to hear anything... The Hero3...

    Top Box only pics

I was surfing the forum for what to get for my bike and you sold me on the H&B with this post. I really appreciate it!

Mods Feeler: Better Brakes? Better Suspension? Better Suspension and Brakes?

Matt mentioned this thread to me and my immediate response was the "Breaks Suck." It's really my only beef with this bike (its the non-abs version). It's really not a big beef because I don't go that fast on the NC so a single caliper does the job well enough... but I am not used to having to...

    New from Washington State

Hey Rob! Welcome from SoCal! I am happy to hear your Better-Half Rides! My man and I share the passion, and met through it, and it definitely enriches our relationship. The NC is a pleasure to ride when you want to enjoy your surroundings. It's also an asset if you are planning to commute on...
