Couldnt agree more with you about the cruise control. Especially now that the new NC has Throttle by wire.
Your Versys story sounds similar to my 2018 Goldwing Tour....Bought it brand new as a leftover in Jan 2020. Paid $17,600 (Its the 6-speed Manual). Just sold it for $18,600....FREE...
Jack,
Interesting on your past bikes. I just sold my 2018 Goldwing tour and one bike Im considering is the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE (the version with Cruise control). How did you like the Versys?
Craig
Hi RF, I agree with everything you said short of the center stand. For Chain Maintenance (Cleaning and Lube) and tire changes its really helpful.

Hi Dave Thanks! Its Craig. Good to see your still around these parts.
The little bump in power sounds good to me. I was excited to see they are providing ABS now with the manual however I stumbled upon this 2019 tonight that is farkled out pretty well and Honda warranty through 2025. With...
Hey fellers!
Sold my NC700X a few years back and been on Harleys and Goldwings (I buy a new bike every other year). I did a few cross country trips and wanted a full blown touring bike for them. Now that I wont be traveling from coast to coast for a while I decided I want another NC. I miss...
I suppose I could re-install things like the stock exhaust, wind screen, remove the GPS etc....But the Honda Hard bags require the Honda mounting kits and they required slight rear cowl trimming so those have to remain with the bike.
To be honest, I'm baffled as to why these things havent...
So I have decided to buy a Goldwing. The NC has been AWESOME but its time to go big or go home and I can only have one motorcycle.
What would be a good asking price for my 2012 NC700X Manual with 7,500 miles, All three Honda harbags, Sargeant seats, Cee Baileys, Garmin GPS, Yoshimura RS-3...
OK just got out on the first ride with the Sargent. Aside from the stock seat, the only other seat I tried was the Corbin which I put about 700 miles on it. Both the Corbin and the sargent beat the stock seat in terms of looks and comfort. My honest opinion is the Corbin is the more...
Rear seat cover installed
Finally got the chance to install the rear seat cover. The old Handheld manual Arrow stapler wasn't up to the task. Nor was a borrowed electric staple gun. The Honda Seat pan laughed at the staples those shot. I decided to purchase a Harbor freight pneumatic 20...
The heated seats dont get "Hot" like grips do. I had a Goldwing with factory heated seat and grips. Yes, the grips would cook your hands in a matter of 10 minutes but the seat is a warmer that you will feel when seated on it for 20 minutes or so. Give it a ride for more than 15 minutes. I'm...
