Wife and I took a ride around Lake Okeechobee, Florida, Sunday. Great ride, beautiful weather, 319 miles.

9600 miles. Its been a slow year, new job, not as much time off. The Dr650 got miles on it too. Don't know how many yet.

I was charged by, and almost ran over a leashed dog. Couldn't move away due to oncoming traffic. Owner pulled the leash just in time.

I get about 6000 to 7000 miles out rd my front sprockets. I flip the sprocket half way through. Looking at the front sprocket, I look for un-even shape of the front and rear of the tooth.

I've been getting around 18000 miles on my front tire. I need good wet traction, and don't have confidence in starting with an old tire. I did find that video, and if I was only riding on a dry racetrack, would probably do the same thing. A new tire has been ordered from a store where I can...

I ordered a new front tire. It got here quick, but Has a date code of 1017. Tire I'm removing is 3621. If you don't know, the first two digits is the week of the year, and second two is the year. So I bought a 6 year old, new tire.

Wiring may be too small, for the higher powered lights. Maybe try LED's.

Hydraulic systems require finer filtering, due to smaller clearances in the systems than in an engine or transmission. Same fluid in both. Fluid used in the hydraulic system is referred to as hydraulic fluid. Particle sizes that would be ok in an engine, or transmission, could stop a hydraulic...

When it gets tight, can you pull down on the chain and loosen it? My new O ring chain felt a little stiff for a while.

Oil and filters every 4000 miles. Did it one time at 8000 miles and got some smelly dark oil out of it.

When mine feels funny/crunchy, I pull the pivot pin on the handle and lube the pin and the part that pushes the piston. Done it 4 times in 76000 miles. Fluid gets changed every time I remove a wheel.

At 76000 miles now.

Put the new tire on today. Jumping chain shows me I need a new front sprocket.

Make sure it is set on gallons.
