A Honda SL350 visits the beemerphile shop

Good luck from one technician to another. I would hear "Get er running." several times a week at my old motorcycle shop. Keep us posted on the progress and hopefully you wont need to many parts since that will be a hard year to find for.

Must have part for your NC.

Cheaper if they just ship the bag with postage and address stuck on it's exterior. Shipping a bag in a bag would just add weight.

Ziplock is a brand name. This bag is genuine HONDA.

    rpm's/frame harmonics question...

When bikes are new, not everything has settled yet, hence the reason we have a break-in period. I can't begin to tell you how many customers I had come into my shop and complain that a new bike was giving them vibration problems. My advice to them always was to give the problem some time and to...

    16.3 km/l - Beat that :-)

His bike is a 750 as well guys. It's bound to burn a little more fuel due to the increased cylinder volume. I'm getting around 55-60 mpg in virtually all city driving.

    starting question

You are definitely capable of doing an adjustment such as this. Especially on the NC700. It is easy. First, buy an excellent quality set of feeler gauges. You want them to be accurate. Cheap Chinese ones are not. The post you linked is a good guide as is the service manual which is a must as...

    starting question

valves could be tightening up at 20,000 miles. i would perform a valve lash check and adjustment. just my opinion from being a certified motorcycle technician. after a while it won't start if they continue to tighten.

Its all about the links - its lowered!

I just put on a center stand (which I want to swap for a 700S stand now if anyone is interested) so I will report back once I get some time in the saddle. And my girlfriend is visiting this weekend so I will try to get her to hop on too to test for weight.

    Seen in the wild

South-bound on Baltimore-Wasington Parkway this afternoon... I spotted an NC700 this afternoon in my area. I'm just curious to see if it was anyone on this forum. Perhaps a potential riding buddy. The rider was on a silver NC700 with a non-Honda top trunk with two tubes below it and a New...
