Hah, a zombie thread, but it fits. Here's an alternative to the Grip Puppy, said to be very durable and not twist around. Medium is the size for us. Re-Grip is available through Home Depot among others:

Pretty sure it's held in place by constriction and friction (and no glue) after the core form ribbon is removed. Reports are that it does not rotate. Is the "re-grip" removable?
Put it this way, guys who've tried this say it's very durable/tough and gives good grip against gloves. I'm thinking about either these or surfaced grips like the ones I put on my WR250R, since those require very little gripping to maintain throttle position – gloves really don't slide on those in the least. But part of that is also that the throttle spring on the WR returns to idle very easily yet doesn't take much to twist. So my choice will come down to whether I decide I'd like to try more circumference or not...Are they soft or hard rubber?
I have them on my Ural which you steer with and they held up great. I've now added them to my new nc750x.Is the "re-grip" removable?

I use GripPuppies and have not had any issue with them, they don't slip around on my grips, but I do wonder how durable they will be. They are simply foam sleeves and seem like they won't last very long. I've got about 5000 miles on mine now and they are still holding up. Almost all of those miles are 'gloved handed' miles so the grip puppies are exposed to the palms of my motorcycle gloves.
