I would like to use the "4 way" flasher switch to control my aux driving lights. It's positioned perfectly next to the light switch. I will never use the 4 ways. 1st bike I ever had with them.

I need the color of the wires that go in and out of the 4 way switch at the connector. And would also like to know where the switch gear loom connects on the harness.

Calling out to anyone with a factory manual.

Year and model?

Ditto what 76Hawke said. The wiring schematics change slightly over the years. We would need to know specifically what year and model you have.

You could split the switch housing open after removing two screws and identify the wire colors.

These wiring diagrams are from U.S. 2015 CTX700 (DCT on the right), which were practically the same as for NC700.
Whether there have been changes in later models, I do not know.

May not be so easy. Turn signals draw power from hazard switch. Have to study............

Looks like the turn signal power passes through the hazard switch so that when hazards are on, the turn signal switch has no power. You could just pass the power over to the turn signal switch full time.

Help me understand what you are trying to do.
Do you want to use the hazard switch to control your aux driving lights? That way you decide to eliminate hazard lights function?
Are you going to power the aux lights directly or via a relay?
Remember that illumination, stop and horn circuits are protected by one 7.5A fuse.

Bfair, Your avatar states you live in Pa, as in Pennsylvania??? If so, PA has vehicle inspections...dont they also inspect motorcyles? If so, they will inspect the flasher button and if not working, fail the inspection....
Pa inspection laws:
175.146. Lighting and Electrical Systems (a) Condition of Lamps and Switches -  Every required lamp or switch shall be in safe operating condition as described in §175.160
Reject or fail the inspection: (ix) The fog (auxilary) lamps operate with the high beams of headlamps. Can be wired into low beams or alone.

I was going to put the power for the aux light through a separate circuit. And yes PA has yearly inspections. Not at all concerned about transferring the function of a switch.

Could pass the power over to the switch at the connector, through a jumper. Have to stay way from the diode, it keeps the left and right flashers happy.

Got it. Based on the left schematic, connect the W\R and the P\BU to keep power to the turns. And use the remaining, GR and R\BU as a switched circuit. Hate to waste such a nice switch. Now if I can find out where this plugs into the harness on the bike.

I’m pretty sure if you follow the left switch cable down through the triple clamp, there is a connector right there on the frame, like above and aft of the left upper corner of the radiator. Side panel removal neede for full access. I just looked at my 2012, and it is as posted by lootzyan above. However, the photo above shows a10P connector, while the schematic says it is a 14P.

Got it, your right I do not have the flash to pass feature. Thanks connectors are easy to get to. Much appreciated the schematic postings, saved a ton of time. However, I think I have to get into the switch gear harness to isolate a wire, the other is at the 14p.

Thanks again, for jumping on this so fast. I'll let you know how it goes when the lights and crash bar comes in.
