Anyone fitted Highway pegs to their nc? If so which ones and can I see a photo.
Thanks

Yes.

Search forum for “highway pegs”. Mine are a cheap folding type attached to Givi crash bars.I rarely use them, so I wanted a simple, compact type.

I like the polished bits on your bike.

Thanks for that, the polished bits took some polishing. If anyone wants to try it you had better be committed as they are a pain to do.

The pegs look good!

I’m interested in your fork brace… did you notice or feel any improvement once you installed it?
It came from AliExpress don’t think it makes much difference if any. But I did my forks with Racetech gold emulators as well so the forks are 100 times better now it handles like it’s on rails.

Looks like you have seen this before; Givi engine guard, inexpensive pegs... they can be reached while underway...can prevent the old legs from seizing up...

Hi, yes I did after many hours searching. 1.35” from kuriyakin don’t seem to be available anymore. Bought those (site address below), that come from Ukraine which does the job just fine. Mounted on front engine bolts…torque to spec, they won’t move. Will post pic when back home. Production is limited, considering their situation, but gent/rep most helpful with installation questions i.e. crash bar or none that may be fitted on the same engine bolts.

Disclaimer: I have no interest in that company, I’m just a happy customer/rider!.

Hi, yes..bought a pair from www.iron-skill.com. They fit on the frame (engine mounting bolts). Works/fits with or without crash bars. They provide différents bolts depending if you have crash bars mounted on the same engine mounting bolts. HTH. JP

I saw those and they are super rad! But they ship out of Ukraine and idk how the shitshow over there would effect the shipping. I'll email them

Well,
I managed to procure a set of Kury cruising pegs with the 1.35 clamps from a member on here that was no longer in need of them. They were close to brand new. As for the 1.35 clamps fitting the down tubes of my '20 NC750X DCT, yes they fit. They do not clamp down with inside face of each side of the clamp touching each other. There is a gap between them due to the fact that the down tubes are 1.375 and the clamps are rated for 1.350. While .025 thousands is normally not to big of a deal in most circumstances, it makes a difference here. But, the clamps are still able to be used. I just clamp them tight enough to keep the pegs in place. Now, I did look around for the 1.35 clamp versions but, as you've stated, they must have simply dropped off the market.

The only issue I have with the new cruising pegs is that they are slightly higher than I'd like them to be. They are that way simply because based on the total size of the clamps vs some components on the frame, they mount where they mount, period. They do the job nicely though.

What I really like about them is by the way my feet and legs rest on them, that causes a bit different ergonomics in the rest of my body. My butt is now seating differently and is pushed ever so slightly towards the rear of the riders seat and against the passenger one. I am no longer drifting forward as many experience. I can straighten my torso up slightly and along with my make-believe cruise control, I can relax my palms/fingers and actually get a nice comfortable ride for quite a while. Then, when things get tired in that position, I switch back to the standard riding position. Works for me.
Scott

I tried to post a picture or two but, we're camping right now and the internet of the campground is being used by 10 bazillion people so, no pics.
