well, it’s not much of a story. Engine went bang on the M40 a week ago. So looks like the flywheel sheared off. 78,000 miles, 2016 X. But… why would the flywheel shear off? 8k 2016 S engine turning up on Saturday…I’d say you should continue removing that engine.
I look forward to someday reading the whole story.
Seems unusual, to me. I think, looking at the crank where it’s broken, there’s a crack. So maybe just dumb luck. Hay ho. Stuff happens.Looks like we’re see some weakness in Honda products. Not long ago we heard of a defective camshaft, and now this . . .
Have there been other similar reports? Or is this an outlier?Looks like we’re see some weakness in Honda products. Not long ago we heard of a defective camshaft, and now this . . .
My cat sat next to me for all the 6 hours it took. Couldn’t have done it without him.
I have a cat like that. Helps me change oil, clean the garage, pack for camping, etc. Loves being around where the action is.My cat sat next to me for all the 6 hours it took. Couldn’t have done it without him.
I also have an excellent halper kitty. She sits with me whenever I am repairing electronics, occasionally batting the tiny easy-to-lose screw off of the table and on to the ground.I have a cat like that.
