How about a game of NC tag? Its a lot of fun!

I’m just settling in with a post-ride beverage, ready to post my obelisk and other tag photo. Looks like I’m about 25 minutes late, haha!

That’s an actual burial or memorial spot of an accident?
Its an actual grave

The funniest thing is this isnt my hardest challenge as we technically have a road feature here that exists no where else in the world as i live close to the roundabout capital of the world if i really want to crank up the difficulty level. Im a nerd so I enjoy riding to quirky places just for fun

Heh, i live up in the Inland Northwest... there are no Lighthouses up here!! How about some yard art, i did find one of those lol...??!! Come on all of you Coastal riders!!! :{P

Yard ornaments would be fairly easy, but finding a real lighthouse near me would take a fairly long trip with at least one overnight stay. That’s assuming I could find an accessible lighthouse on the Great Lakes. I’ll sit this one out.

We have a rock formation here called the lighthouse. But it is a 3 mile hike, no motorcycles allowed on the trail. Everything else would be a 10+ hour ride. I’m sitting this one out.

Old tag: grave in an unusual place

This burial site is in a residential front yard.

Here’s a closer look at the marker:

And here’s a Wikipedia article about Simon Girty:

New tag: Lighthouse

Really interesting info about Simon Girty, a genuine historical figure. It's cool that they built around his grave rather than moving or destroying it, considering that his place in history is ambiguous. Sounds like he was a very interesting fellow.

Here is a picture of a lawn ornament lighthouse I took today. I’m going to disqualify myself and not claim the tag because I was riding my Zero DSR, not the NC. The NC is sort of put away for the hot summer months.

The lighthouse tag still stands.
