Day 294 was a 42 miler on country curvy roads. 37 degrees and sunny. Rode 27 days out of 30 in November (my back was out for 3 days) 1484 miles for the month and 18,739 miles for the year so far.

31 days to go

Day 297 a 47 mile ride west on the Ohio River Scenic Byway and a small squirt up the freeway and back. Roads were damp from overnight rains, so straight and flat was the best option. 45 degrees, sunny and windy for the ride.

(PS I'll quit these numbered reports when I get to my goal of 300 ...should be Tuesday lol)

Personally, I love reading your posts. Keep em coming! It's one of the reasons I come here in the first place.

Day 298 was a 54 mile loop I call "The Airport Loop" as it apexes over by a small local airport called Lunken Airport. I usually run this loop on Sundays because it heads west from my town towards the big city and I go this direction on Sunday's because traffic is lighter on the weekends with no one working downtown. A couple miles past the airport I loop back east, away from the city towards home. 38 degrees and sunny for today's ride.

Day 299, a 48 mile loop I call " The seven-90's" because one of the roads about mid-way is a hidden gem, recently repaved, with plenty of curves including seven 90 degree turns. The only issue for me on this loop is a couple of the roads are what I call lane and a half's, with no centerlines, and you never know what might be coming around one of the curves from the other direction on your "1/2" of the road. They are pretty remote so the chances of another vehicle coming are slim but not impossible ... (today there was one and he gave me plenty of room as they "usually do". 47 degrees and cloudy.

I have another loop called "6-90's" that is about 20 miles north of me with a road with six 90 degree turns on it. I love whoever designed the roads in this county lol.

Rain is forecast for 6 of the next 8 days so you know what that means ... possible rain bath lol.

Have fun, ride safe

Installed Motowerk mirror wideners on my 2018. Despite what their website says, it will work past 2017 model year. I have an ‘18 so I assume it will work through’20 at least. Easy install and doesn’t look bad with the Barkbusters on there. Overall the hardest part is just getting it situated to me.

Day 300 of riding this year, and the weather was lousy, 52 degrees but misting rain for today's 40 mile flat roads ride. 300 days of riding meets my yearly riding goal with 25 days to go.

Also collected 2 more perks, another Mille Bonne for my '21 DCT

and went over 19,000 miles for the year on today's ride.

So while the weather may have sucked the rewards were worth the effort.

Congrats on hitting your goal! I can’t come close to your dedication & resolve, but can absolutely respect it!:)

Day 301 ... it rained hard all night but had quit by dawn. I waited until 2 PM to go for my ride, but with no sun or wind today, the back roads still had puddles of standing water. I did my "450 Loop" (named for the 1 mile section of ST RT 450 that's on it) counter clockwise, a 51 miler of combined curves, straight flat and about 10 miles of freeway. 55 degrees and extremely overcast for today's ride.

I think this will be my last day riding to work for the year (in December, not bad!).

Today is relatively nice with a high of 38 F. Streets this week have been clear of frost, snow, and most importantly salt. But unfortunately big snowfall overnight tonight will likely stick around longer term.

Day 302 was another ugly one weather wise. Although they said the rain would stop mid-afternoon, it didn't so today the NC got another bath. 36 miles @ 44 degrees
