We won't make it. I have too many risk factors to venture out right now. One son is medical and working overtime. The other is not working, being paid and accruing vacation time.

We will bring my bike with us on the trip to DC and stop in NC early in the week and "tourist" by truck. The boys will come up with the little trailer on Wed. or Thurs. Less rushing and driving.
I just checked back thinking no one was interested since I have gotten no email notices (nothing I have changed - MOD ?) but it seems some will be there. Cool.
Will be rushing home from DC area to drop the wife and pick up the boys and their bikes. Yes we trailer as I am no longer a long ride...

My experience with travel with a rack mounted rear case is that food stuffs are "blended". Eggs? forget it. Beer? Ha. wait till cooled - ~1hr. Bread? How did that end up under the canned beans? How do you spell folded, spindled or mutilated?
If/when I take the forks off and drain I think drilling a drain plug would be plan.
