    Turn signal quandry

I thought the design on the old Honda 400/4 was very good. As you pushed (or pulled) the switch it got progressively harder to quite some degree before switching & it was THIS that registered on the memory so you didn't forget to cancel. They should re-visit this old switch :) Stuart

    Bhp

Right. So they held off including the extras knowing what was coming. Makes sense. Sooo if some bright spark can figure how to put the new software onto the 'old' bike then we might be able to enliven some new features? ;) Stuart

So what did you do TO your NC700 today.

Put some air in the tyres. Stuart

So what about the 750's rev limit? I was out on my S & a mate said the 750 revs higher? Is this true? Would this mean bottom end torque is compromised? Stuart

    Geocaching and the NC700

I found one just the other day whilst out on my NCS :) They are planted or hidden much closer together in the UK though & it's easier to find them on a walk. Riding from cache to cache can mean very short rides :) T Stuart

Shock Splash Guard (on the cheap)

I'll stick with the cable tie fixing I think. A: I can go back without leaving holes & B: there is a fuel tank under there & I wouldn't feel comfortable putting screws in pointed that way :-) I cut my guard longer & wider (for added protection of shocker) but, of course, it doesn't hang close...

undecided about NC700S - need your advice

I too have the NCS. I've covered about 1000 miles on it and agree with those above regarding the wind etc. It's a good all rounder & build quality is good for such a budget bike.

How to open glove box without a key

Perhaps a way of getting a dedicated plastic grease or lubricant onto those plastic parts may help over time? If the white plastic section is breaking after a period then I'm wondering if the correct lubricant was used on it when it was assembled? Use the wrong stuff and it'll weaken the...

So what did you do TO your NC700 today.

I've just fitted a Big Foot to the side stand of my NCS. Got it from rodaspt on eBay. Fits pretty well :-)

    Best Gas Mileage.

Would be easier to quickly see what our bikes are achieving if two new threads were created from this, one being for the US gallon & one for Imperial? Just a thought... T

    NC Speedo/Rev counter

After being shown that the new CB500X has the facility to display the motorcycle's MPG (on right of screen) I'm thinking it's something I'd like to have seen included on the NC's clocks. I guess we can only wonder why Honda felt it wasn't nessarcary to include it on our bikes :-/

    Clunk... Clunk.. Clunk, clunk..

My NC has only done 2k miles and the chain appears fine. But I can feel the chain/sprocket set up on this bike almost flexing or grinding occasionally while accelerating. It's the kind of noise or vibes you might expect if a sprocket were moving slightly sideways? I'm wondering if the setup is...
