Looking to extend the brake foot peg out from the bike.

Anyone have any info on a foot pad/peg extension that can be attached to the stock foot brake peg? I currently am using the 1/2 dowel-in-the-hole trick, but I would feel better with something more stable. I am trying to avoid welding an extension onto the factory peg. Any ideas?

    Kickstand turn

So I'm trying to get a consensus opinion on whether or not the side-stand on the NC700 is strong enough to stand up to an occasional side-stand turn or pivot. When the bike goes into shed storage for the Winter I would like to be able to turn it flush with the rear wall. A web search of info...

    Mirror bolt torque?

I'm replacing the mirror extenders on my bike and in reading the instructions, I noticed that the manufacturer calls for 46 ft lbs of torque on the replacement bolt that goes into the mirror attachment on the brake resevoir. While I normally don't use torque (as opposed to 'guesstimating' the...

    Mirror damaged/vandalized !!

So I came out of a restaurant yesterday and noticed my right-side mirror was out of position. Thinking someone must have nudged it, I tried to move it back into position, only to find it bent where the mirror shaft is screwed into my mirror extender. After getting the back home (with the mirror...

    Seat 'space' filler

So I raised up the seat using the over-sized bumper and 'tongue on top of the bracket' trick. But I'm trying to come up with a way to fill the space between the seat bottom and the side cowling after the seat is raised. I've had to shoo bees out from under the seat twice now and would like to...

    Seat Concepts install

So I just ordered the Seat Concept cover/foam for the bike. Has anyone done their own install on this product? If so, how did it go? I watched a couple of their vids showing installs and it looks 'do-able' at home with some spray adhesive, some silicone and some patience. Yes...No....Maybe?

    Palmer wind/noise baffle

Well...... Just added the Palmer Products wind/noise baffle to my screen assembly. First of a few ' It's to damn cold to ride so I'll work in the shed' projects. Looks like it will do a decent job of blocking some of the air flow under the screen. We'll see when the weather gets warmer!

    Damn it!

Just got the bike at the end of last year and spent the cold winter months 'farkling' it while it was in my shed. Rode it all summer. Now Winter's coming again and the bike will eventually go back in the shed. What the Hell am I supposed to do all Winter now??? Guess I'll just have to get a...

Two in front...or two in back

A recent post about the Polaris, plus some bar-room discussions I've had make me wonder.............. If you absolutely HAD TO give up riding on two wheels, would you go for a Polaris-type vehicle with two in front? Or would you go for a trike, with two in the back? Or would you give up...
