Has anyone converted this to an electric push button switch yet? Like say a dual rocker with an actuator at both the frunk and the rear pillion?
Screw this key crap. Haha.
I love my NC, but man, the new FJ09 looks so nice. More power, better sound. Maybe too small like my NC. Possible Super...
31k miles. On it's 3rd chain (first was almost immediately recalled), 3rd rear tire, 2nd front tire, 1k on it's 2nd set of front pads.
28k of it enjoyed through my awesome RaceTech suspension. Night and day from factory.
I got 9k out of my rear Metzler and 18k out of the front Metzler. Front would have gone much further, but I had rode on it low on air for awhile unknowingly.
I have 11k and 2k respectively on a set of Dunlop Roadsmart 2's. I love them!
Chain was replaced per the recall so it doesn't have that many miles on it. I'll have to look at my receipts and see the mileage on the chain. I was surprised it was so stretched. But again, unfamiliar territory.
So I noticed this clunk the other day when I accelerate from a stop. Then, last night I noticed it again (I usually ride with music on and hadn't really noticed it was an ongoing thing) but this time, it just wasn't a one time thing. It started slow and as my speed picked up, the so did the...
Mine does this too. I do not think it is the exhaust though. Sounds like the throttle body opens itself slightly at startup, then closes. It's an intake growl, not an exhaust growl.
I wish it was possible to keep that sound. Haha
When my bike was new, I could predict to within 5-10 miles of empty.
Now, it's a crap shoot. You can't have them fix a problem under warranty if you can't duplicate the problem.
Not that I would, but I wonder if you can lemon law a bike? Lol
Haha, two diff pumps when I've run out.
No center stand yet, but I did stand the bike upright sitting on it backwards to fill once (yes I felt dumb, but in the interest of science... Lol) and the second time I leaning the bike upright with my hip.
When I dumped mine, I bent the sheet out of the clutch lever, pro taper bars and the entire fairing/tank/speedo is shifted over 1/2", but the rox risors never moved.
No grooves other than what was on the factory mount.
I've run out twice. I fuel up over the baffle plate as high as I can without it spilling and I got 3.660 and 3.661.
My trip to work is about 62 miles, so I fill up every other night at 186. Like clock work. Yet, unlike clock work, my POS gauge is different every time. Lol
After wanting to go the Sena route, I read that the G9 speakers were a little better.. Ended up getting an awesome deal on a G9 power set (350otd) instead.
I have to say, I am impressed. My phone rings I have to take it or I don't make any money. 80mph on the so cal freeway with the noisiest...
Paint or wrap it. The Tupperware is expensive!
600ish for just the side panels! (Broke a couple tabs after I locked my key in the frunk, so I looked them up.. No thanks glue is just fine! Lol)
I am so over the silver! Why on earth are we stuck with one choice? Could you imagine going to a...
I've got 16.5k on my original Metz front. Rear Metz was corded at 9k.
7.5k on a Dunlop rear road smart 2, and it looks really good still.
My mpg is down to about 50-52 so that should give an indicator of how hard I am on them.
That was me that they posted about running out at two bars. Went 211 miles. Funny thing is now I ride faster and the problem is the opposite, like yours Dan.
Reserve hits at 145-150 and I run out at 185 and 191. Usually running 80ish mph during commute. First bar goes anywhere from 10-40...
I must be the odd man out that likes it out there with only 3/8th's (or maybe 1/4"). I'm so used to pulling with two fingers, if there is any more free play I crush the remaining fingers.
