Hello
I am getting ready to lower a 2015 NC700X for a friend using the 40mm Lust Racing links and have a couple of questions:
Is the 2021 NC750X side stand shorter and will it work on the 2015 NC700X?
Is it possible to raise the forms 15mm in the clamps?
Thanks a million!
PS It feels good to...
I've been kicking around the idea of getting an Africa Twin (again!) but the fact it has tubed tires is keeping me from getting too serious.
Are tubes as bad as a think? Is fixing a flat fairly easy after you've done it a couple of time and have the right tools?
Could it be money well...
I'm looking to upgrade the suspension on my NCX (finally) and was ready to pull the trigger on a Cogent Dynamics setup, then Rally Raid released their setup.
I know no one has installed but the Rally Raid setup yet, but I am a complete motorcycle suspension newbie, so I can't tell if there is...
I'm getting ready to install a G2 throttle tamer on my NCX and have a couple of questions.
How hard is the OEM grip to remove off of the stock tube?
Would it make sense just to get a new grip? Are there better options than OEM?
Should I use Honda grip glue when installing the grip...
On July 6th I was heading home and was t-boned in the passenger side of my Challenger, the other vehicle blew their stop sign and were exceeding the speed limit by a considerable amount.
Luckily I didn't have a passenger with me and no major injuries were sustained on either side.
Here is...
I am thinking about replacing the stock brake and clutch levers on my 2012 NCX, want to be able to adjust the reach and learn to ride with 2 fingers on the levers and 2 on the grips.
Is there any reason not to go with short levers?
Thanks

I have been using a 20" Madstad on my NCX for the last couple of years and love it! My screen is the Sport SD style and thinking of ordering a replcament in the Adventure style for a couple of reasons, my current screen is medium grey thinking of going to light gray and the Adventure looks...
I tried to reset my trip A meter today after fueling by holding down the left button but it won't reset. The left button still works to cycle through the display but a long press isn't working.
My NCX is a 2012 with 20,000 miles, been in a rain a few times and sleeps in a garage.
Any ideas...
I've been reading about the 2018 V-Strom 1000XT and to me it looks really good on paper.
Spoked and tubeless 19" front and 17" rear wheels
Chain drive
500 pounds
$13,000
and it is Yellow!!!
Good news! According to the the Continental website the TKC 70 is available in 127/70-17 ad 160/60-17 sizes!!! The bad news is the only place I can find them instock is in Germany. Bummer! :(
I wonder how much shipping on a pair of tires from Germany would cost?
Thanks
Went by my local Honda dealer to shoot the breeze and ended up taking a 2007 ST1300 for a test ride!
Rode 30 miles and really liked it, but it was a totally different experience than riding a NCX.
Lots of power and brakes, electric windshield, and wind protection.
I might have to go ride...
I'm kicking around the idea of attending an adventure motorcycle training course and like the looks of the training offered by RawHyde.
Has anyone attended a RawHyde training course? If so what did you think? Worth the time and money?
Thanks

I truly think I'm in love! If it had a frunk I don't think I could control myself.
Everyone should own a BMW motorcycle once in the their life, right?

OK I'll admit I didn't change my NCX brake fluid at 12,000 miles.
Bad owner, bad!
Now I'm going to change it but have a question.
When pumping out the old fluid do I keep pumping until the master cylinder is dry or keep adding fluid until the fluid being flushed is clear?
Thanks a...
OK I'll admit it! During my valve check I turned my engine clockwise while trying to line up the marks. Now I've read that during the engine backwards can break the cam chain tensioner spring.
I am still waiting on new cylinder head bolts (another story), but should I remove the cam chain...
My 2012 is getting ready to turn over 16,000 miles and I'm trying to decide if I should check the valves or wait until 24,000 miles.
The majority of the threads I've read state that the valves always seem to be within tolerance when checked. Plus I'm no mechanic and taking the head off of the...
Nebraskagirl and I are taking out for a 5 day trip to Northwest Arkansas, dodging thunderstorms all the way!
We are spending Wednesday night at Devils Den State Parks and finishing the trip at Steel Creek Campground by Ponca, AR.
I've called around and the water isn't too high and the...
