A few people have been scammed on the site, Only use paypal to pay for items for sale by other members. If they will not use paypal, its likely a scam NEVER SEND E-TRANSFERS OF ANY KIND.
I was charged like $95 for rear tire installation last year (they charge like $75 an hour labor). I didn't take the rim off the bike though. I thought it was ridiculous, but it was the only dealer within an hour and a half drive (when I lived in rural Minnesota.) I now have the option to call...
Dang, $5k is a deal. I agree that it depends on the area you live. When I lived in Minnesota the local dealer had all kinds of NC's and cb500x's. On the flip side they had no CBR RR models whatsoever. I told one of the dealers that I was hoping to see some race bikes and he gave me some smartazz...
My brother was right next to me when he got hit by an SUV from behind. Thankfully he didn't sustain any severe injuries. He was questioning ever riding again. Two years later he bought his next bike.
We all know that the NC700X is not built for speed. Furthermore, nobody on this site condones breaking the law. This is for informational purposes. What is the top speed you have witnessed from a NC700X or NC750X? I will start off with a 0 to 60 mph real quick. around 6 seconds. I have...
I recently put a Ram Mount on my 2013 NC700X for (mostly navigation purposes.) You can actually mount to the brake res. for ultimate stability. Mounting to the bars is not as stable. Pic attached.:cool:
I get steady 60 mpg riding balls to the walls. Use reg. unleaded in this bike bc prem. is not recommended and is a waste of money. When you switch to reg. you will experience less bogging down at lower RPMs. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
I was just wondering what other people use in their NC700X.
I usually only use the expensive 92 or 93 octane (in USA). Am I wasting my money? When I had a Kawasaki Ninja I only used higher octane as well, but that was more of a race bike.
Checked out the new Indian dealership a couple towns over. Really nice bikes, but a bit spendy. Got my Leo Vince exhaust delivered today. I installed and rode first with, then without the silencer. Made my ears ring without, so I put the silencer back in.
Center Stand is a must. I had the tall windscreen installed but it pushed the wind right into my helmet (I am 6ft.2in.) so it came off quickly.
heated grips
I thought the stock seat was fine for a long while. I noticed that I was readjusting my jeans around my nether regions a bit, but that was all. I had a couple friends ride my bike (for very short time periods) and they mentioned sliding forward and it being uncomfortable. I didn't really notice...
I'm gonna say it....Riding with earplugs or music will decrease your awareness and reaction time. With all the moto vlog going on currently distractions seem always present. I love the entertainment, but riding in itself takes enough concentration. "Do It With Dan" has been taking up my time...
