By aligning more easily, I of course meant aligning the part in the swingarm, not aligning the marks on the adjuster. Sorry for any confusion. ;)

Anyone find any, have used any? Only one I've found is by Dimotiv, and is simply a machined block of aluminum which replaces the oem part. OEM appears to be steel, but the aluminum is probably thick enough that it wouldn't be an issue, I think. Just, aside from tighter tolerances and aligning...

My first bar disappears after the first bend in the road...but then I accelerate pretty aggressively (=fuel bob giving inaccurate readings). Fuelly says my MPG is improving though, so either I'm learning my bike, or the new oil and valve clearances are breaking in nicely. ;)

Fold your leg like you're about to do a side kick, then throw it over like you mean it! Or, just stand on the peg. Shouldn't cause any harm.

Did that the other day, a nice relaxing ride. Not as far, though. Today I looked at the bike and noticed some oil on the right side of the rear wheel. Everything else clean, even the brake disc (seemed too viscus for brake fluid anyway). Weird...

It's not too bad with stock, really. Though being a pretty small rider, I guess I can get away with more. Wouldn't want to ride all day like that, of course.

Riding at 80 is pretty cool, specially when you duck under the windscreen and all you hear is the motor purring and a bit of wind on your back. I like to imagine that's what it sounds like with a bigger windscreen. lol

Yeah, I've rubbed my boots and a foot peg once each going around a corner, and both times I was probably going faster than I should around a corner (20-30 around a sharp 90-deg and the other around a roundabout). Still have about an inch of unworn tire on the rear, both sides.

If it's not a huge wire you could just feed it in with the other wire harnesses. I'm not sure if the 750x is the same, but I could shine a flashlight into the battery compartment and see where the wires went in from the underside of the bike (either side). Of course, it's probably better to take...

Pretty much how I felt going around a turn a bit fast when I realized there was gravel across the road. Thankfully it wasn't much, and the front and rear tires both only slid a bit through the turn, at about the same rate.

Some parts of a dct clutch may wear faster due to the hard shifts, but I'm sure they considered that in the design.

I think I'd feel better using the adhesive mount on the madstad bracket rather than directly on the windshield (if there's enough room, that is). 1, because its a flat surface and 2, because you'll be less likely to damage the metal brackets than the windshield if you decide to remove the gopro...

Yeah, top gear is a lot higher than 5th, so it has to shift down earlier, but 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd are pretty close together and each can be run from about 13 to 42 mph, minumum. It'll be a rough ride at those speeds if you use the lowest gear possible, but should be fine otherwise...

Yeah, a 17t front seems like the way to go if highway is your game, though I can't speak from experience.

Not sure how willing I am to trust my life to a $97 shock, especially as it doesn't appear to have any more adjustments than the stock shock. I'd rather pay the same for a shock of known quality, or a bit more for one with more adjustments. Edit: nvm, I see the other adjuster knob now, still...
