    CTX700 saddlebags

    So... The CTX bags have the lower mount point attached at a bit different angle compared to the NCX?

    Commuting! Suzuki SV650 (naked) vs Honda NC750s

    They do! ...you just have to buy it as an accessory, it's a lot smaller, it's not lockable, and it's called a "tank bag." That's pretty much the same thing, right? LOL!:p;)

    NC750X hp/tq vs Transalp 750 hp/tq

    Greg, you may be the only online-forum member (on any forum) I've encountered who understands that in terms of the engine, power is the ONLY graph that matters. Folks, torque and speed (meaning engine rpm) are almost-freely exchangeable, and that is exactly what the transmission's job is...

    GPS Trackers or security systems

    A friend had a pickup stolen on the farm once, years ago. No tracker, but it was insured against theft. The insurance co. wouldn't pay until they had waited some period of time (2 weeks? A month? Two?). The border patrol found the pickup within 2 or 3 days of the end of the waiting period...

    Question Chest or ankle

    I can appreciate your decision here, Rabbit. I spend a deal of time determining where to spend limited resources on gear, too. The data I happen to know of, suggests (like mzflorida said) that lower leg is the most-common injury in motorcycle crashes, and chest is a very low-frequency injury...

    Clutch Cable

    I may have adjusted the clutch cable on Wiley (2012 that I bought new) once. I forget just now how many miles are on the bike, but it's fifty-something thousand, so very similar miles. I also used the bike to commute every day for years, though it was mostly on the freeway going into a huge...

    Scuff Marks

    While I tend to agree with Greg, I note that you're in Ireland. The majority of this board's membership is in the USA. What is covered and for how long may well be different between the two places. It couldn't hurt to call your dealer and ask, could it?

    Light Mounts for OEM Light Bar

    I did more or less what Dave did, on my '12. I got a piece of scrap metal from the dumpster at work, then cut it and bent it 90-degrees right in the middle on the hydraulic brake in the shop (also at work). Drilled three holes apiece (2 for the light bar, one for the light), bees knees.

    Better performance after break in?

    Higher-humidity air is LESS dense, not more dense, than dry air. It's the vaporization of the water that cools the intake charge and thus allows more O2, more fuel, and more spark advance that is why water injection is used.

    NC700X vs NC750X Drivability

    I find Wiley’s throttle transitions abrupt sometimes. I think my issues are mostly (almost entirely?) to do with the fact that I run my chain at the very loose end of spec. Maybe even looser. I am skeptical that the NC700X cuts fuel at _low_ rpm and throttle closed. It certainly does it at...

    Problem Changing Rear Brake Pads

    Glad you got it fixed! I can never get fluid into and through an empty hose by just opening the bleed screw and pumping the brake handle or pedal. The bleed screw MUST be opened and closed at the appropriate times, else you're just moving fluid into and back out of the brake line as you pump...

    What did you do to/with your other motorcycle/scooter/trike today?

    Cool; thanks. I used a driveline shop where I used to live for all kinds of things, from fabbing new drivelshafts to lengthening, shortening, and repairing. Cross or spider replacement is something I usually did myself, but most of my drivelines had crosses held in place with snap rings...

    What does everyone use to inflate NC tires on the road ?

    I got a new-gen MotoPumps inflator for Christmas. It's super speedy yet compact, with alligator clips, a Hella plug, and an SAE plug as options to get power.

    What did you do to/with your other motorcycle/scooter/trike today?

    Interesting, dduelin. Glad to hear about your driveshaft rebuild. I've thought that would be the smart play whenever I've read the people on the K forums talk about preemptive driveshaft replacement. Not everyone there seems to think having a shop replace the u-joints is possible or...

    What did you do to/with your other motorcycle/scooter/trike today?

    I've some experience with Rivian pickups, as well as with some ultra-quick Honda sport bikes. This is a neat story, but don't go direcly racing a Rivian if you want to keep your pride intact. (-;

    Aftermarket panniers that work with oem pannier mounts?

    I'm mulling the bike overall. I prefer to keep with the bike if I keep the bike, or sell all. ...so, no, not the saddlebags.

    Aftermarket panniers that work with oem pannier mounts?

    I do. They come with the bike. (-;
