    Nut Plates for Tall Screens

That's what I was afraid of. Nobody makes nut plates.

    Nut Plates for Tall Screens

This will keep a 22" screen in place? If so that's great, I can get those locally.

    Nut Plates for Tall Screens

Is anyone making these still? If so I need to buy a pair. If not is there another way to mount the screen? It's 22" tall.

Yes I raised the forks about 20mm. I didn't notice a change in handling.

    2014 Honda NC700X 1,587 miles $3,900

New leftover I bought in 2019 with zero miles, paid $6,717.07 out the door. Got the papers. I don't ride it enough to justify keeping it. My riding days are over. Manual transmission. Kept in garage always & never dropped. Replaced original tires in 2020. Replaced brake lines with Spiegler...

    Problem Changing Rear Brake Pads

Same here. The new brake line for the rear was easy once I got the new pads in. I pumped the rear brake a few times & it filled up.

    Problem Changing Rear Brake Pads

I fixed it! Finally. Here's what didn't work: 1. Pouring brake fluid into the reservoir, backing out the bleed nipple & pumping the brake handle. 2. Using a syringe to squirt brake fluid into a plastic tube attached to the bleed nipple with the top removed from the reservoir. 3. Squirting fluid...

    Problem Changing Rear Brake Pads

It's empty. I put on a new brake line & it's acting like it's blocked.

    Problem Changing Rear Brake Pads

It just keeps getting more fun. Installed the Speigler steel brake line & EBC HH pads on front, poured brake fluid into the reservoir, backed out the drain thingy 1/2 turn & started pumping the front brake lever. And nothing happened. I expected the brake fluid to get pulled into the brake line...

    Problem Changing Rear Brake Pads

I learned something. The 14mm bolt won't thread in unless you remove the brake pads. After putting in the 14mm bolt I put in the new brake pads. Now I have another problem. I replaced the brake hoses with stainless steal ones & installed Speed Bleeders to help with putting in brake fluid. Didn't...

    Problem Changing Rear Brake Pads

I'm at the part where I put the 14mm bolt back in the front of the caliper. It doesn't thread into the caliper. It does if I left the caliper off the bike but if it's in place on the bike it doesn't thread in. It just spins. The holes are lined up but the bolt doesn't go in. Really weird. What...

    Low Oil Pressure Light

Got distracted today with errands so I'll try to finish it tomorrow.

    Low Oil Pressure Light

Ok I got under it & removed the sensor. Had to remove the oil filter & coolant overflow tank. Good news is the wire didn't break. It got knocked off by maybe a rock or something. It's chipped but still useable. Also the rubber sleeve on the plug in part is ripped. I'm going to plug it in & glue...

    Low Oil Pressure Light

The wire that goes to the oil pressure sensor broke off. It's dangling. I don't know if it can be prepared. Not willing replace the entire wiring harness for $765.54.

    Low Oil Pressure Light

I'm thinking it might be a defective filter. I thought I would try that first since a new oil pressure sensor is about $65.
