2021 service manual not available?

Books are not printed with printing presses anymore-the way of the dodo.....pdf files and lazer printers....however, very few publishers print their own books....mostly contracted out to a few printing companies, 2-3 week's to get their turn on the list. Even if Helm printed their own, they sell thousands or millions of books each year worldwide, and same 2-3 weeks for the file to get in the rotation. Helm pays Honda for the copy rights to print the manuals, and too many people stealing those rights or would if the manual was available by pdf download. Yes it is capitalism, but still in my opinion better than full socialism or communism.

I think I understand your point, but would counter that true capitalism is Amazon, which provides same or next day service for free. Helm has a monopoly, which is not true capitalism. Helm is like state owned monopolies that don't give a shit about customer service. My gripe is this, that they don't act as a company that cares at all about their customers. And therefore, it only motivates people to avoid them and share PDF's of their materials to avoid engagement that costs too much and provides too little. We are able to shop around for car dealers, groceries, online vendors, and the rest. No shopping around for service manuals is the illness that plagues the management of Helm and causes the rest of us to suffer.

Thanks all for your replies, it’s not my intention to have a free one I would pay if only they’re available. I have contacted helm in USA and they can’t help either…

The 750x 2021-23 manual, seems out of stock everywhere. The solution for me is to use:
(link removed for copyright infringement)
Most of it is the same and whatever differs, well, I'll have to figure out + rely on forums like this excellent one..;)

Well, I see in the automotive world it is sometimes not even possible to buy a service manual. I hear you might pay a subscription fee for temporary online viewing of the manual. I’m glad I own a paper copy of the NC service manual.

We have the ‘21 service manual available in paper copy in the States but I don’t know if the shipping cost to Wales would make it worthwhile.
You mentioned that you have the '21 service manual available (paper copy). How would I go about purchasing one of these?

Thanks!!

I was addressing a person from Wales. I wrote that “we” have the service manual available, meaning we, the citizens of the United States, have a supplier. The paper service manual can be purchased at www.helminc.com.

Does the "X" manual cover the XA and XD? I've been watching Helm's site for 6 months and I'm on their email notification list to be notified when it's available. I never thought to just look for the "X" models as I thought all of the NC750s were XA or XD. Thanks! View attachment 51402
61MKW00 was relaced by 61MKW01, which shows available. When you search, just use the term NC750X without any A or D. They all share the same manual. https://www.helminc.com/helm/Result...1&Category=1&Keyword=&Module=&selected_media=

Thanks. I have one ordered. I kept looking to the NC750XD not realizing that the manual was now just the NC750X manual.

I finally heard back from a beleagured sounding employee named Crystal, who apologized profusely saying she has been telling management they need to step up their web game and inform people how things work there. She explained that the manual is only printed when you make an order, and that for some reason it takes them 3-4 weeks to do the printing, and then they ship it. I emphasized how out of step with modern internet ordering this is, and at the very least their website that indicates the manual is available should explain that they are printed upon order and take 3-4 weeks to produce. Charging $25 for shipping on top of this absurdity is just outrageous. Only through monopoly are they able to persist with such incompetent business practices.
I wish I could order one. I go to the Helm, Inc. website and find that the service manual is out of stock. I attempt to place an order, but it does not work. I supposedly on a mailing list when they are back in stock. I have been on that mailing list over a year now. How were you able to place an order?

What “one” (part number) are you trying to order? If you are on a wait list for a manual that has been superseded by a newer part number, you may never get the one you’re waiting for.

‘21-‘23 NC750X service manuals (if that’s what you want) show “in stock”, although posts here indicate there may still be a delay in printing/shipping. Posts on the forum have images of the correct manual part number.See link post #29.

Helm does not seem to be on the ball, I just tried to navigate back to the page on their website where I ordered mine from, and I cannot find it again. Don't know what to tell you friend.
Edit: I also tried the link in Post #29, It did not work.

21-23 NC750X Service manual is indeed what we are looking for.
Helm website at this moment says it is out of stock, no matter what computer or browser I search from.

I just seached again and all that showed on their site before is gone. Helm is really messed up now.
