The Bonneville T100 is arguably the most famous British motorcycle on the market. It’s the closest thing to the original Bonneville available in the 2021 Triumph line-up, taking inspiration directly from the 1959 model. Today, the Bonneville lives on as a range of Triumph motorcycles, but the unadulterated T100 is the model that most closely resembles the original.
The 2021 T100 is built around Triumph’s powerful 900 cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve, parallel twin Bonneville engine. Sports performance isn’t the driving force behind this high-torque engine. Instead, it has been developed for practical cruising and well-rounded versatility. The engine produces 55 horsepower and 59 lb-ft of peak torque.
While the T100’s retro aesthetic is its biggest draw, it also features a shopping list of impressive features. The best of these include Ride-by-Wire, ABS, a torque-assist clutch, sophisticated and stylish instrumentation, and modern practicalities such as an immobilizer and USB charging port.
For 2021, the Bonneville T100 is available in three color options: Fusion White and Aegean Blue with hand-painted coach lines, New England White and Intense Orange with hand-painted coach line, and Jet Black. An additional model, the Triumph Bonneville T100 Black is available with a blacked-out aesthetic.

900CC ‘HIGH-TORQUE’ BONNEVILLE ENGINE
The Bonneville T100s both feature the same specially tuned 900cc high-torque Bonneville engine that delivers performance, enhanced fuel economy, and a deep, rich exhaust note.
The 8-valve single overhead camshaft parallel-twin with 270° firing interval provides smooth linear power, delivered directly from the slick new five-speed gearbox.
MORE POWER AND TORQUE WHERE YOU NEED IT
The 900cc engine has been designed to deliver much more power and torque where you need it – between 2,750rpm and 4,750rpm, to suit the riding style of this modern classic, for a more thrilling and engaging ride.
In addition, the T100 delivers 22% more power in the mid-range against previous generations and a massive 18% more peak torque, with 80Nm at a low 3,230rpm.
SMOOTH, NEUTRAL RIDE
The dedicated T100 chassis and suspension work together to provide a smooth ride, along with easy, neutral handling and sensitive incorporation of advanced rider-focused technology, with ABS, traction control and a torque-assist clutch to give that extra level of comfort and control. The T100 range is available in beautiful classic and stylish contemporary colours and there are over 150 accessories available to personalise your motorcycle.
UPRATED TYRES AND DISC BRAKES
T100 motorbikes have an uprated single floating front brake disc. Both models come with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres, specially developed by Pirelli for the Triumph Bonneville range. Added stiffness, profile changes to the front, and deeper tread on the rear provide secure handling and excellent durability.
REFINED HANDLING AND COMFORT
The T100s have a significantly enhanced level of comfort and handling. A more comfortable seat with thicker foam than previous generations comes as standard and the chassis and suspension, incorporating greater suspension travel, has been developed specifically for an engaging yet easy-going ride, improving long-distance use and pillion passenger capability.
