The 2022 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is the British Manufacturer’s Modern-Retro Cruiser
The 2022 Triumph motorcycle lineup has multiple models that fall under the Bonneville range, but the Speedmaster is, by far, one of the more unique offerings. In fact, apart from the manic Rocket 3, it’s the only cruiser motorcycle the British manufacturer has on its portfolio.
Powering the Speedmaster is the same 1,200cc twin-cylinder engine also used on multiple other Triumph models. However, on this motorcycle, the engine is in a slightly different state of tune, producing 76.9 hp and 78.2 lb-ft of torque. Triumph claims that over 90% of the torque is available all the way up to 5,750rpm, making the Speedmaster an exciting motorcycle to ride.
The 2022 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster comes with cruise control as standard and two riding modes — Road and Rain — that alter throttle response and traction control levels. There’s also some solid hardware on offer, with a thick 47mm Showa fork setup at the front and preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
For 2022, the Bonneville Speedmaster is available in three classic-looking color schemes — Jet Black, Fusion White and Sapphire Black with a hand-painted twin coach line, and a stunning Red Hopper candy paint scheme.
The 2022 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster starts at $13,495 USD / $15,395 CAD.
