750 Hornet breaks cover

Moderator note: Thread moved to Non NC700 Motorcycle Section.

80 pounds lighter than an NC 750 with 30+ more horsepower and more torque. Should be a fun ride.

Not particularly attractive IMO..... kind of like an early Suzuki SV 650

A touring package is an option

No DCT though

Now that you pointed it out, Ferret, it is interesting that Honda has rolled out a brand new engine but they did not offer a DCT option.

Let's hope for the Transalp 'fixes' that oversight. I can kinda see not having the DCT on the Hornet but on an Adv bike it'll be a miss. Especially considering Honda's marketing of the DCT on the Africa Twin.

If the specs are accurate, it is going to be a quick bike. Looks like it will be very reasonable price wise too. Cheap speed.

will be interesting to see if it makes it to the states. The NT 1100 hasn't made it yet. Several of the ADV style scooters never made it. Took us 3 years to get the CB 1100.
