That's clever, especially as it won't open without the ignition on.

Looks like a lot of technical work though, beyond my skill/knowledge level!

Looks like I'll be sticking with the 'Frunk knob'. ;)

When you push that button, what is pulling on the cable that releases the latch?
Where is it mounted?
How is it wired in to electrical?
Is it electrical?

The presentation is very clean. It looks great.
I wonder how it works.
 
UK NC owner used an acutator and few other bits to make his release but his uses wireless remote

Being as it only works when the ignition is in the "on" position, that would be my first tell-tale sign it's electronically aided.
 
I was just and only pointing me !
When I saw this thread this morning, I knew I saw something like this somewhere but didn't remember where !
