This is listed as part of the 600-mile service (I'm past 600...). What am I supposed to do to 'check' them? They're still there, and the bar turns just as smoothly as it did when I rode it home. Is this just a matter of putting a wrench on the bolt and making sure it's tight? You may be able to tell that I don't have my service manual quite yet. ;)

Cool; thanks! I can give it the 'once-over' of checking for freedom of movement and excessive play, and with the centerstand and a helper, it won't even matter that I don't have a proper steering head jack/lift!
