DCT erratic shifting into 6th while in S mode.

2018 NC750XA (DCT)

The first time I used the S mode it stayed in 5th at 50mph (speed limit 45). After six hours of shooting pool, I rode back home on the interstate (speed limit 70). DCT stayed in 5th even at 80mph where I slowed back down to 75mph. A few minutes later it shifted into 6th. Any comments guys?

Since then I've playing around with the D, S and MT modes to get whatever gear I want at whatever RPMs I'm at so there's really no issue but I'd still like to ride in a "normal" S mode. Anyone out there know the shift points for S mode?

Thanks to sumo here's your answer- D S1 S2 S3 Whats the difference
It's in Kilometers per hour. If you're in S3 the shift point is about 68 mph. If you're aggressive with the throttle the transmission will hold the lower gear longer.
