I took this trip in 2016, so if I did the math correctly, I was 62. I had returned to riding in 2009, after a 30 year hiatus while I raised a family. Currently 71. I tried to do the MABDR in 2021, but had an AFIB episode at the end of the first day. I panicked and called my kids to come get me. I should have just taken my pill, gotten a good sleep and tried again the next day. I had an ablation just 9 months before and had been doing very will with that until that day. I was shaken by this incident and ended up selling my NC700 in response, but I hung on to my Himalayan. Haven't had any problems since. I think dehydration with caffeine from a lot of iced tea set me off. I'm thinking of trying again this summer.
PS. I originally discovered I had AFIB by passing out in the kitchen.
