Electronic owner’s manual (PDF version)

When I travel for a couple days I usually bring an iPad with me. Even on the Vespa I’d bring it. Then I realized I could download the Vespa manuals to it and use it on the road. Since my iPad is in an otterbox, I could even wash my greasy handprints off it (unlike my paper service manual).

I just got my NC750xd a couple weeks ago, and requested Honda Canada supply me with a PDF version of the owner’s manual. Today I got it. So now if I get the urge to pull a wheel off or change my coolant on the road, I know I can

WHAT?!?!?! I've been wanting a pdf of the NC700x service manual but none exists. I finally bought the paper and I'm going to scan it myself so it's on my computer, phone, iPad, etc. Honda really should offer this everywhere.

Just for clarification-

The Owner's manual is what is supposed to be supplied with every new bike, and has been legally offered by Honda in electronic form since 2012.

The Service manual, or Shop manual, is still only a hardcopy paper publication by Helm for Honda, and is illegal if found in any other fashion, regardless of who says it isn't, until otherwise notified.

Duh ... yep. Service manual is what I'd like in pdf. Owner's manual is not terribly useful.

I don't think a scanned copy is ever legal for a workshop manual.

A pdf Service Manual and Spare Parts Manual exists for the 2012 model, don't know about others.

I'm not going to tell you where or how to get it, but it's not a scanned copy. Has a full table of contents and is searchable.

I have PDF version of service manual for 700 (google is your friend), owners manual for 750 (but not in english - it is available for free download at official honda motors homepage - check yours), schematics diagram for 700 and 750 - they can be found here on the forum or google them.

what I really would like to have ANY service manual or at least differences for 750 version. I know it is available on nc700 uk site for members only.

When I checked the Honda Canada site I couldn't find links to the PDF owner's manual. That's why I asked them for a copy & posted.

Hope not get our moderators mad but all everyone is looking for is openly available all over the european internet. Use Google.* IT, ES, RO... whatever you can read. There is definitely something out there for you...

yep, the version I have is about 19mb big, 773 pages long with images of reasonable quality (better than you'd get from scanning I'd say). The wiring diagrams are missing though

I've looked at that pdf that's available online - I think it's limited to Europe and Asia - i don't know if the US or North Amercian versions are different enough to make a difference. I ended up just buying the paper version and I'm having cut to put in a 3 ring binder and to scan it.

FYI. Bought the aervice manual for the NC750XA/XD from Helm. It's the exact same service manual as the NC700XA/XD but they send stickers along with a new ref# and title to stick upon the old ones [emoji1]
