The book by Hunter Thompson is interesting. (I do not want to say it is a good book in the sense of well planned or well written, but it was an important book.

The book by the same writer on the Hell's Angels is also interesting, especially if read in conjunction with Sonny Barger's autobiography. Two accounts of the same events.
