Gloves left on seat

Small miracles ... when I came out of Walmart I saw that I forgot my gloves on the seat and they were still there! Homeless like taking gloves out of the helmet so I always lock them in the trunk.

I usually leave mine on the ign lock and my helmet unlocked on the helmet guardian. Never had anything taken here in SW Ohio. Glad I don't live in San Diego.

I'm not overly paranoid, but I lock everything unless I'm going in for lunch and can sit at a window facing my bike. My rationale is how am I going to feel if someone walks off with my Schuberth helmet or gloves, and particularly if I don't have spare gloves in the saddlebag? Or what if they just knock my stuff off the bike onto the ground? Easy enough to put gloves in the helmet, helmet in the top box.
