Question Has anyone named their bike?

So as I bought my bike March 2020 when we were hit with covid I raced to the dealership threw down the cash loaded her into covered trailer brought her home and named her the “COVID-19 RIDER”

"The Little Engine That Could" because of every big hill and everyone else has checked out. I can hear the bike saying "I think i can. I think i can.I think i can" and I really dig that power plant.

1975 CB750 "Jake"
1975 CB125S "Elwood"
I struggled with a name for my
'23 NC750X, but I think because of the magical qualities of this bike I shall dub thee, Merlin!
Whadda ya'll think?

"Number 7" 7th motorbike that I've owned.
Previous bike wasn't number 6, it was called the Red Baron
Before number 6 was, "Martha" my second wife. My real wife named it for certain reasons.

The Motus is MO.The Cub is elMO. The NC is NC. The Cub Trail is Red. The Rokon is Ron. The 2615 utility tractor is Massy.
You have a Motus? Do you ride it much? What's it like? Any problem getting parts seeing as they went out of business 5? years ago? I would have loved to have test ridden one, but they were way too rich for my blood. Cool concept though.

Yes.
I grew up in the Muscle Car era and saw the Motus as a muscle car on 2 wheels. I knew it was not ST1300 smooth; not a daily rider for me.
Bought it to own, not ride. It has 91 miles on the clock to date. Updated license plate holder, tail rack and tall clear windshield. A beast to ride with the light throttle spring.
Has the Harley firing order so is a little too wild for my blood. Would like to find a shop that could install the silky smoooth cams of the V-4 ST1300.
On the ST I adjusted the fast idle to the 1K RPM warm up setting; it is so smooth, even at a low idle cold start.

May look into a new cam setup after 2025 when the American economy begins to settle down and not so on edge. Make America Florida.

I just recently brought home a 2020 NC750XD and found myself explaining it to a buddy as an almost anti-HarleyDavidson type bike. So, that morphed into Aunty Harley, or simply “Aunty.”
My wife definitely prefers me joking about going out with Aunty vs other random female names to make people think I have a side-chick.
Added the crash bars, bags, and rear rack. Aunty is a lovely thing.
