Where is your old tag photo?
oops, post edited! Updated now with my own historical marker found.Where is your old tag photo?
I think you may misunderstand the game. The rule is for someone to propose a tag, showing their NC motorcycle by some object or in some setting. The next player is incentivized to go out and ride and find THAT TAG, with THEIR NC in a photo. Now having won the old tag with their own NC, they now have the right to propose the new tag showing their NC in a new setting or with new object.oops, post edited!
Ah yes, I certainly did! I should have looked back through some of the posts. There is one 1/2 mile from my house, I'll get over there tomorrow and correct this!I think you may misunderstand the game. Point is, you or someone besides Caboose needs to show their NC with a historical marker. Historical marker is still the current tag. Previously taken “file” photos cannot be used.
Thanks for the reminder for game players to keep the tag somewhat universal. This is an international forum with members living in different climates and around varied natural and man-made features. To avoid temporarily locking out some potential players, or causing the game to go stall, try to pick tags that have a wide audience. Or, add optional or more general tags as in Ajay 750’s example. I’m not sure I even have any frozen lakes around me right now without riding a few hours to find one.Great picture but maybe change the challenge to "Bike with Lake (my lake is frozen)" A frozen lake at the start of spring/summer (in northern hemisphere) surely does not fit with the original rules of this game -.."but not so rare that it is impossible to find elsewhere" Certainly I in the UK won't be posting until at least next winter & I guess many in the US won't either. There's a building near me (in UK) dating from 1132, Fountains Abbey which I did think of posting, with bike, "Building at least 800 years old" would be the joke & challenge but that I think would be impossible for many to replicate
True, I live in Florida, and even last month with the 8" of snow in the panhandle, there were no frozen lakes, ponds, rivers. The closest I would have been able to come to frozen water would have been my horse water tanks (slightly frozen on top). Thanks for the reminder for game players to keep the tag somewhat universal. Fair point. Not wanting the thread to stall over a difficult challenge, have changed it to "Bridge over water"Toll bridge tag, anyone? The closest one to me is probably 5 hours round trip.
