I plan on heading to Indianapolis for the MotoGP on 8-18-13

This year, I didn't make it to the Smokies like I wanted, but I still
had a great trip to the New England States.

I plan on making my Smoky Mountain ride in 2013. The MotoGP
is coming to Indianapolis Speedway with race day on 8-18. Hmmm....
might be able to do a "package" deal here.

I can leave after the race and continue South
to do some riding around the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

GP General admission tickets are only $40, and (motorcycle) parking
is another $10. I didn't know it was available, but for another $10, I
can take the NC for a lap around the race track!

Unless something else comes up, this will probably be my vacation ride for 2013.

I went to the Indy gp back in 2011. Very cool race, a must see for the true race fan IMO

I've been wanting to go because I figure that the Indy GP round is soon to be gone from the GP calender. Right now it looks iffy at best, but you never know I might get lucky and the stars will all align.

Since its only a 4 hour ride for me , we ride up Sunday watch the races and ride home.
Long day ,but no hotel cost

I ordered my ticket tonight! You's can enjoy the race vicariously through me lol.

General admission and parking only. I didn't spring $10 for the "do a lap with your bike" deal.
I plan on getting a souvenir t-shirt and baseball cap with the event logo on it.

Also plan on getting some race footage with my camera and posting it here.
