Just not sure that an engine that carries it weight high in the chassis is ideal for a tall adventure bike configuration.

I think the Indian may suffer from the same concerns people have about the upcoming Harley Pan America.

HD's Pan America is going to be tested by every bit of moto media and compared to bikes that look to be lighter, or carry their weight down low. I'm curious how the Pan America will fare against any of the established bikes in the 1000+ cc category for riding on anything other than highways. Even parking lot maneuverability may be a good deal harder due to (what appears to be a very) high center of gravity.
