Motorcycle lift

I bought this at Princess Auto but it's going back. I can't figure out how it would work on the NC750X.

It looks like a scissor jack, the two curved protruding sections on the top move apart to support the bottom tubes of the frame. May or may not work on the NC700X due to the oil sump hanging down there too.

I saw the same one but didn't feel comfortable with it. I have a paddle stand for the back and think I will eventually get a triple tree stand if I get into more front end work.
