Information MPG at high speeds

Saturday, I rode from San Diego to LA with my motorcycle club 240 miles round trip where we averaged 75 to 80mph+ and I still got 62 MPG on the way up and that is with Madstad windscreen and mini extender + a givi top case.

I get ~55mpg (US), but that with side cases and a top box. Side cases seem to really affect things more than anything else

Sounds about right. My typical MPG with a set up just like mrbios drops to 50-55 2-up with Tusk side cases loaded.

Agreed. Other riders may dispute the impacts of side cases on fuel usage, but I typically see a drop of perhaps 5 mpg when side cases are installed. I use them as a last resort when I need maximum luggage space.
